Chinese green tea, Dragon Well Lung Ching is the Princess of Green Tea in China. If you don't like strong tannin and astringency in green tea, this is an option for you. Although the appearance is of irregular grade, I was able to enjoy this green tea with three steepings.
The liquor remained consistent for all three rounds, clear and bright greenish-yellow liquor.
Initial aroma reminded me of blanched asparagus or sauteed spinach, yes they are my favorite vegetables. Tip of tongue light grassy flavor, smooth, light bodied with very subtle tannin. Second and third steeping, the aroma was of wet hay on a "farm", green tea leaves that presented an overboiled string beans color. Overall a mellow green tea with no aftertaste.
