I would have to agree with Global Tea Hut on this one, exceptionally amazing tea! Opening my monthly tea sample, oh wow what a surprise. This red tea, from Taiwan, as we call in the West as Black Tea originated in China.
Brisk, cool, minty, sweet and smooth on the palate sums it up. First steep for two minutes, followed with 15-20 seconds (short) thereafter. Remember, explore and play with the volume of tea/water, temperature and time. My intent is to use light steepings and discover nuances for each session.
As I pondered on the tea notes, my mood started shifting to a relaxed meditative state, perfect timing for a sunset. We often contemplate about our yesterdays and tomorrows, the essence of tea will deliver your state of mind to a deeper level.
Simplicity, tea leaves and water....what a fine tea.
